This natural park is the best representation of lakes formed by the accumulation of calcium carbonate (tuff). It is a unique wetland in the Iberian Peninsula.
It is located between the Ciudad Real and Albacete provinces. An exceptional natural environment, where you will find fifteen river lagoons, of which nine belong to the Albacete province and are located within the municipal area of the beautiful town of Ossa de Montiel. You mustn’t miss a visit to the literary Montesinos Cave, inside which Miguel de Cervantes places us in the second part of Don Quixote de la Mancha.
